Highfield is our school.

It is a community school, was opened in 1928 and has always been one of the largest schools in Chorley. Inside, the school has a traditional feel to it with long corridors, high ceilings and shiny floors. Outside there are pleasant garden areas and very extensive playing fields.

The main building itself is an unusual shape with a number of entrances but the children very quickly learn their way around. The building also dictates the size and shape of our three playgrounds, which are spacious and ideal for sporting activities.
